The U2 members, Bono and Edge, appeared in the 90th Bithday concert of Nelson Mandela held at Hyde Park on June 27th. The members of U2 gave a pre-recorded birthday message to Mandela and performed the Stevie Wonder’s song “Happy Birth Day” with necessary changes to suite the occasion. The video was filmed at Dublin and was perfect for the day. The U2 members were happy to appear in the 46664 concert. The band has always collaborated with celebrities and social leaders to fight against injustice and poverty and as part of their charity work; they often donate a part of the proceeds generated by ticket sales to various charity organizations.
