U2 not concerned of music leak

The band has dismissed any concerns about the four track from their soon to be released album having reached the internet. The song’s which were reportedly titled “Moment of Surrender,” “For Your Love,” “Sexy Boots” and “No Line on the Horizon” were of very very poor sound quality. They were removed from YouTube soon after copyright violation complaint filled by Universal. They were reportedly recorded by a Dutch fan from outside Bono’s apartment in the French Riviera. The band spokesman said that even though the song’s were barely audible, the amount of media coverage and publicity that it got hinted at the extreme amount of jealousy.

Four songs from the Irish rock band’s forthcoming album found their way on the Internet after U2 front man Bono was caught playing the songs a bit too loudly on his stereo at his villa in the south of France. The fans passing by recorded the songs and uploaded them on YouTube.The songs from a forthcoming album called “No Line On The Horizon”–include the title track, “Sexy Boots,” “Moment Of Surrender,” and “For Your Love.” If this tale rings true, it wouldn’t be the first time U2 has lost control of unreleased music. In 2004, the band had similar problems with stolen songs from their album- “How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb” when a cd containing unfinished songs was stolen. New U2 album uncovered

U2 frontman Bono gave his French fans a sneak peak at their new undisclosed album. The album is reported called “No Line On the Horizon”. The band has not formally confirmed the name but the record company Universal has already registered a domain name called nolineonthehorizon.com. The fans wondering outside Bono’s home in south of

France heard the singer singing out the new songs to his family members and recorded voice clips of it. The clips are present on YouTube and the album is supposedly going to be released on November 15. In the meantime a British newspaper has published some of the names of the titles like ‘For Your Love’, ‘Sexy Boots’, ‘If I Could Live My Life Again’, ‘Moment of Surrender’, ‘One Bird’, ‘Love is All We Have Left’ and ‘The Cedars of Lebanon’.

U2 to release 1983 Colorado show on DVD

The Irish pop band group U2 who are in the news for one reason or the other has again come into the limelight and this time it is the release of their June 5th, 1983 classic concert held at Colorado that will be released for the first time on DVD on the 30th of September. The same concert was earlier released on the VHS in late 80’s. The DVD version will comprise of 5 songs that have not been included in the VHS tape. The concert was titled “Live At Red Rocks” and the VHS was very popular among the U2 fans. There is no doubt that the DVD will also be in great demand once it is released.

Bono, the front man of the world famous music rock band U2, is all praise when it comes to the lead guitarist of the band and calls him the genius in the U2 band. Bono says that he really admires by the presence of other two mates, drummer Larry Mullen Jr and bassist Adam Clayton, but feels that Edge has some real edge over the other members of the band. The Edge is an epitome of music and adds color and vigor to the band. He creates tunes at will and has the knack of coming up with soulful tunes when the chips are down in the recording room.

November 14th is the tentative date for new album release

There has been news filtering through that the much awaited new album from the house of U2 titled “No Line on the Horizon” will be tentatively released on November 14th, if everything falls in place by that time. The album will be released by the Universal Music Group and reports are that the band is working day in and day out in order to complete the album on time. This will be U2’s first studio album in four years and the expectations are really very high on this new album. There are also reports that the shoot of a song from the new album will be taking place in Cadiz, a small city in Spain.
