Bono does not endorse manager’s view

Paul Guinness, the long time manager of the most popular band in the world U2, has criticized the way Radiohead allowed its fans to download the songs of its latest music album free. The front man of the U2 band Bono does not completely agree to this criticism from his manager. Bono feels that the new thought provoked by Radiohead is not such a bad idea and called this attempt by the Radioheads an absolutely courageous  decision and one that has involved a lot of thought process. U2 are also currently working out on a new album that is slated to hit the music stores by October.  

U2 to re-issue three former albums

The Irish pop stars U2 ‘s first three albums are all being re-mastered from the old collection tapes in digital format and will be available at all  the leading music stores across the globe from July 22nd. According to U2, “Boy”, “War” and “October”, their very popular earlier albums, are all being readied for their die hard fans in three physical formats. One format will be the normal single CD disc; the second one will be a format that has 2 premium CD discs that includes rarities and live tracks. And the third physical format will be an LP record. All the three formats will have some exclusive U2 photos, lyrics of the songs and newer front designs with same old covers.     

Will U2 follow up their new album with a tour?

An important question that lingers in the minds of many U2 fans is whether the band will be undertaking a tour across the globe in support of their forthcoming album that is slated to be released in the fag end of October this year. It is been long since the likes of front man Bono; The Edge etc have hit the roads entertaining their fans with their popular rock numbers. The fans are dying to see their superstars perform and there are reports leaking that the dreams of millions of U2 fans might eventually turn into a reality in the near future. If there is an announcement from U2 regarding their tour schedules, there is no doubt that their fans will be flooding the ticket counters.  

U2 new album release slated for October end

Paul McGuiness, the U2 manager informed the public through BBC that they will use all the latest available technology to make their new release more interesting to the U2 fans. The new album of U2 is expected to release during end of this October. The music fans are eagerly waiting for the new release from U2 as their songs have relevance to the life of people and they try their maximum to make their albums a real treat to the music lovers. Though they have a time gap between their albums, their experiments with music has always produced good results. The popularity of the U2 band is evident from the enormous ticket sales for their live gigs.

The Members of the U2 band are toiling hard to release their new studio album in the month of October and are expecting that their new album will be selling like hot cakes once it hits the record stores. The U2 manager Paul Guinness believes that they will not leave any stone unturned to make the album successful and will not resort to any other marketing tactics to popularize their new album. They intent to create lots of business through physical record sales and are coming up with a unique idea and concept of marketing to release their new untitled album. 

New and remastered albums released by U2

Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois are producing a new U2 album which will be released later this year, maybe in October. The album’s name is yet to be decided. This album will include favorite songs like “North Star”, “No Line On The Horizon” and “Love Is All We Have Left”.

Also, the first three albums that had been released by U2 (Boy, October, War) have been remastered and is due to be released this July. It will be released in three formats – vinyl format, single CD and the deluxe format that includes bonus tracks. Saturday Night, Speed of Life and Cartoon World are some of the unreleased, rare tracks that have been included in the remastered edition.

The Irish band U2 is releasing a new album in October this year. The popular U2 band has been successful over the years and is appreciated for their consistent performances that they have shown for the past 30 years. The album is yet to be given a name. The producers of the album are Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno. The possible songs in this album includes some favorites of Bono like, “No Line on the Horizon”, “If I Could Live My Life Again”, “Love Is All We Have Left” “North Star” etc. Steve Lily is working on this album at the Hanover Quay Studios. This album will be entirely different from their last album in all aspects.

Bono attends the African Development Meeting

The Irish Rock star and social activist Bono attended the African Development Summit in Yokohama in Japan. The summit was attended by more than 40 heads of the states from Africa and the Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda. The U2 frontman advised the African Leaders to learn from Ireland about tackling the problems of poverty and shortage of food. He appreciated Japan for its decision to double the aid to Africa in order to help the continent to fight civil war and poverty. Bono also attended and performed in the MTV Video Music Awards function in Japan on May 31 at the Saitama Super Arena.
